Named after one of the architects of the modern surfboard Matt Kivlin, our updated boardie is made from a stretch Cordura ripstop that has a dry hand and solid structure. Inspired by early 90s board shorts, they include a rounded front yoke and a darted waist to help them hang better on the hip. Other details include rugged parachute buttons with nylon webbing fasteners, a button fly with interior button tab, key loop inside the back pocket, and an embroidered pennant on the left leg.
