Anderson Surfboards has been churning out some
of the most-ridden longboards in California
since 1988. Started by Scott Anderson in his
backyard, Anderson Surfboards and the
glassing factory Aquatech have since turned out more than 20,000 boards. Since Scott’s passing
his dedicated team have taken over production and continue to produce some of the best in classic longboards.
The Brothers Marshall is a classic Malibu noserider, with a wide 19″ nose platform and a blended concave on the underside, parallel rails down the middle and a tail kick for lots of tip time. One of the best-selling longboards of all time.
Farberow 1, named for Malibu local Josh Farberow, is an all around log tuned to excel in beach and reef breaks. The square tail with a good amount of kick makes it a solid noserider, narrowed nose platform for more maneuverability in fast moving beach breaks.
The Farberow 2, named for Malibu local Josh Farberow, is an all around log tuned to excel in beach and reef breaks. This one has a more pulled-in tail and slightly narrowed nose, performs in tight situations while retaining enough width around the fin to remain lively from rail to rail.
