Nick Melanson

Nick Melanson is an emerging surfer/shaper based out of San Clemente, California. Known first for his exceptional longboarder on the rolling reefs of Orange County, in the past several years, Nick has been recognized on a broader spectrum of the surfing experience–pushing his surfing and design theories in waves of higher consequence in the northern Pacific and eastern Atlantic. 

Nick, alongside his glasser and partner, Max Cadwell, offer beautifully built and recognizably unique shapes from small fishes, to modern single fins, up to his extensive array of thoroughly considered longboard models. We’re pleased to host Nick for his first shaping trip to New York alongside his friend and peer, Derrick Disney.
